Privacy Policy
How Snapki collects, uses, stores and shares account, creation and payment information, and how to exercise your privacy rights.
Last updated: 2026-10-27
1. Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to Snapki at snapki.app, including its website, accounts, AI image and video tools, credit purchases and support. Snapki is operated by an individual. The operator is responsible for personal information processed to run this service. For privacy and customer support, contact support@snapki.app; you do not need an account to email us.
This policy accompanies our Terms of Service. Third parties may also process information under their own policies as explained below.
2. Information we collect
- Accounts and login: name, email, profile image, verification status, account timestamps and session information, which may include IP address and browser details. Password login stores a password hash, not your plaintext password. When you choose an available third-party login, we receive the profile and authorization information needed to sign you in.
- Creation workspace: prompts, supplementary instructions, reference images or videos, selected templates and models, generation parameters, task status, outputs, preview and unlock records, credit usage and public-display permissions. Selecting a local file for a browser preview is different from submitting it for upload or generation.
- Purchases: account and order references, payment email, amount, currency, purchased credits, payment status and transaction information needed for delivery, refunds and reconciliation. The payment provider processes card details; Snapki does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
- Support: emails, support tickets, messages, task or transaction references and attachments you choose to send.
- Technical and usage information: network and browser information, request times, errors, security records, feature use and browser preferences. Optional analytics may collect additional interaction information as described in section 6.
Do not upload confidential documents, payment credentials or sensitive information unnecessary for a creation. Obtain the necessary permission before submitting another person's image or information.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information for these purposes:
- Performing our agreement with you: creating and authenticating accounts, processing requested AI tasks, storing and delivering results, managing previews and credits, processing purchases and answering related support requests.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the service reliable, investigating errors, preventing fraud and abuse, protecting accounts, resolving disputes and understanding service use, subject to your applicable rights and any consent requirements.
- Legal obligations: maintaining necessary financial records, responding to lawful requests and meeting applicable tax, security and consumer-protection duties.
- Consent: optional public display or promotional use of your creations, and other activities for which consent is required. Buying credits or generating content does not itself grant promotional permission.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent where it applies. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.
4. AI processing, private content and public display
To execute an enabled generation request, Snapki transmits the prompt, necessary reference media and generation settings to the AI processing service. The current integration uses EvoLink to access generation services. The available models and their providers are listed in AI Models and Providers. A model provider and the API service handling the request may be different parties. Processing is not limited to your device; avoid submitting material whose processing by these services you cannot authorize.
Uploads and creations are private by default. Account media access requires authentication; a time-limited access link may be supplied to the processing service so it can retrieve the required input. Locked videos expose the preview excerpt until unlocked. Necessary operational access and third-party task processing still apply to private content.
Public display and Snapki promotional use require separate, optional permission, which you can change on the result screen. Authorized works may be selected as examples; selection and any manually awarded bonus credits are not guaranteed. Contact us to request removal from Snapki-controlled promotional placements. Withdrawal cannot retrieve copies already downloaded or shared independently by others.
5. Sharing and payment providers
Snapki does not sell personal information for money. We disclose information needed for the following purposes:
- Payments: our payment channels include Waffo Pancake and Stripe. The provider shown at checkout handles the particular purchase and receives the information needed for payment, fraud prevention, tax, refunds and disputes. Snapki receives the transaction information needed to deliver credits and maintain billing records. Card details are processed by the applicable provider, not stored by Snapki. See Waffo's Privacy Policy and Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Operating the service: AI processing, hosting, storage, authentication, email, support, security and configured analytics services receive information necessary for their functions.
- Law and safety: relevant records may be disclosed when legally required or necessary to investigate fraud, abuse or security incidents, resolve disputes or protect rights.
- Service transfer or your direction: information may be transferred if operation of the service changes hands, subject to applicable notice and privacy protections, or shared for another purpose with your permission.
These disclosures do not authorize publication of your private creations. Third-party websites and services have their own data practices; review their policies before using them.
6. Cookies, browser storage and analytics
Session cookies and similar storage support authentication and essential functions. Browser storage also holds language preferences and creation drafts so you can resume work. Signing out clears the active draft for that account in this browser; it does not delete server records. A shared browser or device may expose locally retained information.
When configured, integrations can include Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Plausible. Clarity may process interaction and session-replay information. Optional advertising and customer-chat integrations can also process visitor information when enabled; relevant policies include Google, Crisp and Tawk.
Use your browser controls to block or clear cookies and site storage. Blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or saving drafts. Snapki does not currently offer a cookie preference center. Browser controls do not remove information already received by another service; contact us about available privacy choices.
7. Storage, retention and deletion
Account and creation records are stored to operate your workspace and deliver requested services. Order and credit records support fulfillment, accounting and disputes; support and security records support case handling and service protection. There is currently no published fixed automatic deletion interval for these record categories. Records may remain stored until removed through an applicable operational process; do not assume that signing out, not unlocking a preview or spending credits deletes them.
Request deletion of an account, content or other personal information by emailing support@snapki.app. We verify the request and assess any required retention for financial, legal, fraud, security or dispute purposes. Where retention is required, relevant records may remain after an account or creation is removed. Copies in backups or held by independent recipients may not disappear immediately. Download copies of results you need to keep; this policy does not promise permanent file storage.
8. Security and incidents
We use account authentication, access controls and protected connections to reduce unauthorized access. Passwords are hashed. No online system can guarantee complete security. Protect your login credentials and do not share private media links. Report suspected unauthorized access to support@snapki.app. If a personal-data breach requires notification, we will notify affected people and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
9. International processing
Hosting, AI processing and payment services may process information outside your country, where privacy laws may differ. Where applicable law restricts a transfer, it must use an applicable lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for details about a particular transfer. This notice does not claim an unverified certification, hosting location or executed transfer agreement.
10. Your rights and communication choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing or object to particular processing. You may withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority. Email support@snapki.app with your account identifier and request. We may need to verify identity and will handle requests within the applicable legal period; do not send passwords, full card details or unnecessary identity documents.
Contact the same address to object to direct marketing or withdraw promotional permission. Where marketing messages are sent, you can use any included unsubscribe option. Essential account, billing, security and policy notices may still be sent. Registered users may also use account support, but privacy requests do not require signing in.
11. Children
Snapki is intended for people aged 18 or older. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it, subject to any applicable preservation duty.
12. Updates and contact
The date above identifies this policy version. Material changes will be announced on the site, with any additional notice or consent required by applicable law. For privacy, account, billing or content questions, email support@snapki.app.
